LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is likely to join the election campaign of PML-N nominee Ayaz Sadiq as opposition leader Imran Khan is already running PTI candidate Aleem Khan’s campaign.

According to a media report, Mr Sharif may address an election meeting on Oct 9, two days before the polling day (Oct 11).

Meanwhile, PML-N election campaign in-charge Hamza challenged Imran if the latter had courage, he should have himself contested the NA-122 by-poll instead of fielding what he alleged ringleader of a land-grabbing group.

Speaking at a minority convention in NA-122 on Thursday, he said Imran fled from the field by not contesting from the constituency for fear of defeat like in 2013 election.
