ISLAMABAD: Shalimar Police, responding to a call from a women requiring assistance, reached the spot and found two vehicles with the same registration number and arrested four people.

A woman complained to police that two people were sitting in a car outside her house in Sector F-10/2 and had been threatening her for a few days.

Investigation Officer Saifullah told Dawn that the police immediately reached the spot, as the police station was close-by and asked the men parked outside the house for documents of their car.

“They said that they don’t have documents but will arrange them within a few minutes and made a phone call. After a few minutes, the men’s associates arrived in another car. However, this car was also bearing the same number plate as the other car. All four men were arrested for using cars with fake registration numbers and also threatening the complainant,” he said.
