RAWALPINDI: After the leakage of the primary English paper, the mathematics question paper of 8th class was also allegedly leaked before the exam on Friday.

The Punjab Examination Commission, Lahore, is holding the exams and the mathematics paper was scheduled to start at 9am.

An education department official on the condition of anonymity said the objective and subjective papers were leaked before the start of the examination. “I received six questions of each paper through SMS.” He said the Punjab Examination Commission was holding the examinations for 5th and 8th classes all over the province.

The students of other districts such as Attock and Chakwal also got these leaked questions.

He said he came to know about the leaked papers when some students contacted him to get the questions solved for them. It may be noted that primary English paper was also leaked two days back.

Executive District Officer Education Qazi Zahurul Haq could not be contacted for comments.
