Hand-wash limit

Published December 9, 2013

I READ on the Internet that if you want to make your hands bacteria-free, you should keep rubbing your hands with soap lather for 40 seconds. I looked up at the wall clock and I found that 40 seconds are too much. A busy person like me cannot afford several 40-second spells of hand wringing after visits to the toilet.

Could some kind-hearted doctor or clinician help me reduce the period to an acceptable eight to 10 seconds? I am a busy man. Please.
