ISLAMABAD, Oct 29: Islamabad has asked New Delhi to identify four Hindu-Sikh holy shrines in Pakistan so that the government could consider issuing group visas to Indian citizens, official sources told Dawn.

A high-level meeting of law-enforcement agencies presided over by Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao here on Monday, identified four Muslim holy shrines in and around the Indian capital.

Pakistan wants India to issue group visas to its nationals to visit these shrines, the sources said.

“We have given India the list of four of our holy places in New Delhi and its surroundings and have asked it to send us the names of four of their holy places located in Pakistan,” the sources said. They said the places Pakistan had identified were shrines of Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia, Mujaddid Alf Sani, Amir Khusro and Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti.
