LARKANA, Aug 3 The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Qambar-Shahdadkot on Monday sealed two godowns of food department and sealed the record after it had detected shortage of 3,000 bags of wheat.

Shahid Shahani, the circle officer of the ACE, said that acting on a tip-off he, in the presence of a judicial magistrate Ashique Hussain Ghouri, raided the food go-downs in Shahdadkot and Qambarani.

During the raid, it was detected that 3,000 bags of wheat were short from the procured 1,25,000 bags. Many bags in the stock were found underweight and the wheat was found mixed with mud, he said.

Initial investigations revealed that food inspector Yunis Khoso, had inflicted a loss of Rs69,00,000 on government, the circle officer said. The inspector was absconding while ACE initiated investigation, he said.
