Iran says it has shot down more US drones

The IRGC says it shot down a spy drone in the south of the country, saying it was “conducting reconnaissance and surveillance of the operational areas of the south,” Al Jazeera reports, citing the IRNA news agency.

It also said that its aerospace force shot down a MQ-9 drone in the sky of Ahvaz in the southwest of the country.

The army also successfully intercepted a US cruise missile in the west of Iran, it added.
