KARACHI: Payoneer, the global financial technology company powering business growth across borders, has extended its strategic partnership with Upwork, the world’s human and AI-powered work marketplace, marking 15 years of collaboration focused on enabling seamless global freelance payments.

Payoneer will continue to serve as a primary wallet and “Direct to Local Bank” payout partner for Upwork, supporting customers in 190+ countries and territories, according to a press release.

Upwork will also join Payoneer as a Design Partner to explore stablecoin-enabled payouts aimed at providing freelancers in emerging markets with faster and more flexible access to funds.

The collaboration further reinforces Payoneer’s mission of supporting glo­bal digital commerce and strengthening financial infrastructure for freelan­cers, entrepreneurs, and SMBs operating internationally.
