KOHAT: The officials of Muhammad Riaz Shaheed police station found bodies of a man and a woman in a jungle in Bazid Khel area in the vicinity of Shiekhan town here on Friday.

The local police informed Rescue 1122 about the incident and after necessary investigation, the bodies were shifted to the KDA divisional headquarters hospital for autopsy.

Later, the victims who had been killed by fire were identified as Bilal, resident of Sumari area of Kohat district, and Ms Arsala Jan, hailing from Thall tehsil of Hangu district. The police have filed a double murder case against unknown killers and started investigation.

MAN DROWNED: A man was drowned in the Indus at Zera Patiala area of Tora Stana here on Friday. The Rescue 1122 divers, under the supervision of senior emergency officer Arif Khattak, have launched an operation for the recovery of the body.
