PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtukhwa Chief Minister Mohammad Azam Khan assigned new portfolios to three caretaker ministers, an adviser and a special assistant, said a notification issued here on Wednesday.

It said that caretaker minister for tribal affairs (merged districts) Syed Aamir Abdullah had been assigned additional portfolio of industries, commerce and technical education, adding that Sarfaraz Ali Shah had been assigned the portfolio of planning and development, energy and power and minerals development.

The notification said that special assistant to the caretaker chief minister for housing, Zafrullah Khan, had been assigned additional portfolio of transport and mass transit while caretaker minister Engineer Ahmed Jan had been assigned the portfolios of communication and works and irrigation.

Engineer Amer Nadeem Durrani had been assigned the portfolio of public health engineering, local government, elections and rural development, the notification said.
