Drawing is a visual art that almost all love during their academic years. Moreover, as it gives vent to one’s feelings, children especially feel free and more creative.

Unlike other subjects, drawing and painting boost self-esteem and you explore your own creative skills. So for all the little artists reading this, today’s website will add to your amazement, just grab your masterpiece, take a picture or scan it, then open https://sketch.metademolab.com/— and the site will animate your artwork.

Yes, you read that right. This site will absolutely make you go nuts over it when you see your artwork move, dance or walk. Absolutely crazy, right? The process is not difficult, it is very simple and with just four simple steps, you can animate your drawing.

As you open the site, you will notice the demo but you can press Get started. There are four steps to making your drawing animate. The first is to upload, in which you have to make sure that your character is drawn on a white piece of paper without lines, wrinkles or tears. There should be no additional information required, such as your or the character’s name, date, etc.

As you upload your artwork, you will be asked if you give the site creators the consent for your drawing to be used for their research purposes, whether you agree or disagree you can still press Next for the second step, which is to Resize.

For the third step, press Next again, you will see that your character has been separated from the background, and is highlighted. So if you find the body parts of your character not highlighted, use the pen and eraser tools to fix it. The fourth and the last step is to find the joints of your character; these joint locations will be used to animate your character with motion capture data.

Press Next and voila! Your very own artwork will be dancing, moving, walking, playing around; just choose the animation from the left panel.

I have reviewed many sites in the past, but this is one of its kind, creative as well as entertaining. Apart from the creativity, the site is clean without ads and it doesn’t even require you to register.

So grab your art and animate it at https://sketch.metademolab.com/
