The post-Eid reality check
This is regarding the article “The post-Eid reality check” by Marvi Soomro (YW, May 30).
It was a fascinating read, especially the humorous details that almost every family goes through after Eidul Azha. The descriptions of leftover dishes appearing at every meal and overloaded freezers were both funny and relatable.
Beyond the humour, the article also carried important messages about healthy eating, cleanliness and helping our families after the busy Eid days. It was an entertaining yet meaningful read.

I found the article “The post-Eid reality check” both amusing and informative. The writer did an excellent job of highlighting the challenges that follow the Eid celebrations, from managing leftover food to keeping neighbourhoods clean.
It is true that maintaining hygiene after the sacrifice is a shared responsibility and that children should also help with household chores.

Motivational signpost
This is with reference to the Wonder Crafts section “Motivational signpost” by The Crafter (YW, June 6th). The craft was impressive as it combined creativity with positive thinking. I loved it and made it instantly.
This craft was a wonderful way to recycle simple materials and create something both decorative and meaningful.

Of cousins and Karachi
This concerns the story “Of cousins and Karachi” by Rayan Anwar (YW, June 6th).
The story was short with simple description of spending Eid with cousins, enjoying homemade food and exploring Karachi brought back fond memories of my own holidays with relatives.
There was also the positive message that loneliness can often be replaced by love and companionship when family members support one another.
