Rabiul Awwal moon not sighted, Eid-i-Miladun Nabi will be celebrated on Oct 9

Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee Chairman Abdul Khabeer Azad announced that the Rabiul Awwal moon was not sighted anywhere across the country on Monday, therefore, the month of Rabiul Awwal will commence from Wednesday, September 28, and Eid-i-Miladun Nabi would fall on October 9.

The announcement was made after a meeting of the committee presided over by Azad, DawnNewsTV reported. Religious scholars from all schools of thought and weather experts attended the meeting.

Muslims around the world celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), known in Arabic as the Mawlid al-Nabawi holiday, on 12th of Rabiul Awwal — the third month of the Islamic lunar calendar.

I suspect that will be the night, when Ishaq Dar decides to make a return trip back to the UK - for a little R&R - and to make a quick run to the Bank with some suitcases.. No worries he'll be back on the ground in Pakistan within a week to prepare for the next trip.

The new crescent according to the forecast of ulmanaque aka Almanac is expected to be tomorrow Tuesday Sept 27, 2022 in all countries from Fiji onwards as the new crescent is expected to be seen in Cape Verde area off the coast of west Africa this evening when it will be very late at night in this part of the world. That crescent wil then be seen in the Americas and then further west from there in Fiji past the International Date Lne when it is Tuesday there.
