CHINIOT: Friends turned out to be the killers of a man in Chiniot.
The city police found a male body wrapped in a gunny bag on April 21 on the city street.
The deceased was identified as Aneel Ahmad, son of businessman Nisar Ahmad. The police traced the killers by using modern gadgets and policing techniques.
DSP Mazhar Gondal said suspects Ali Asif, Qaisar Ali, Ali Abba and Ahsan Ali had been arrested and they had confessed to killing Aneel only to loot his diamond ring.
They killed him by thrashing with iron rods, and wrapped the body in a bag and threw it on the street.
