SWABI: Two persons were shot dead in separate incidents here on Tuesday, the police said.

They said rivals killed a man and injured his brother over an old enmity in Dodher village. Zaida police station officials identified the victim as Shah Faisal and injured Rafaq Ali.

The injured was taken to the Bacha Khan Hospital Complex, Shahmansoor.

The officials said Mufariq Shah, father of the deceased, registered an FIR against the accused, Said Arab and Lal Mohammad.

Separately, a man was killed over a women-related issue in Ochkhawar village.

Sherzada, grandfather of the deceased, Hazrat Bilal, registered an FIR with the Yar Hussain police, stating that he along with his grandson was targeted by Wakeel Khan and Zahid Khan. He said Bilal died on the spot.

OPD OPENS: The Bacha Khan Hospital Complex, Shahmansoor, which is a teaching hospital of Gajju Khan Medical College, will reopen its outpatient department (OPD) from today (Wednesday).

The OPD was closed due to increase in coronavirus cases in the district, according to an order issued on Tuesday by Prof Shahid Nisar Khan, medical director of the hospital.
