RAWALPINDI: Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Rawalpindi on Tuesday continued its raids on various bus terminals and imposed fines amounting to Rs55,000 for violating standard operating procedures (SOPs) issued by the government to contain Covid-19 spread.

According to a RTA spokesman, on the directives of the deputy commissioner, the authority raids different bus terminals and checked implementation of SOPs. Face masks were also distributed among passengers, he added. The RTA secretary urged citizens to follow SOPs.
