JUDAISM VERSUS ZIONISM: The Israelis are in the process of openly destroying all the three branches of the United States government for their own benefit while the Americans are watching helplessly. This is an amazing takeover in modern history without any reciprocal benefit to the US. Jews are wonderful people, but Israelis are not Jewish; they are Zionists. This distinction in terminology should not be ignored when addressing related issues.

AGRICULTURE TAX: The government has promised there would be no new taxes and power tariff hike in the forthcoming budget. I would suggest to the government that the existing tax net can be enhanced through imposing agriculture tax on land holdings of above 12.5 acres till full-scale land reforms are initiated. Unfortunately, there are big land-owners sitting in parliament who have for long refused to undertake land reforms.

CSS SPECIAL EXAMINATIONS: The federal government had last year announced plans to hold special CSS examinations to fill some vacancies and to reduce unemployment caused by the Covid pandemic. However, nothing more has been heard since the announcement. The government must accommodate students who have just passed the age criteria because of official neglect and delay.

OBJECTIFYING WOMEN: It is disappointing to see that advertisements, movies and dramas in Pakistan tend to objectify women. An advertisement of a popular mango juice is a case in point where a top-rated actress can be seen sipping the juice seductively. Even a biscuit commercial shows women dancing around pointlessly. It is high time we created content conscientiously and controlled the growing trend of objectifying women.
