NOWSHERA: Awami National Party (ANP) provincial president Aimal Wali Khan on Friday said his party won’t allow anyone to steal the people’s mandate in the PK-63 by-election.

Addressing a public meeting here in Nowshera Kalan area, the ANP leader said ANP nominee Engineer Mian Wajahatullah would win the Feb 19 by-election by a large majority.

He said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa never belonged to the ruling PTI and would stay so in future.

Mr Aimal said the national institutions should refrain from ‘crossing limits’ and should no more support Prime Minister Imran Khan, whose days were numbered.

He resented high inflation and said the people were struggling to make ends meet.

The ANP leader said his party always protected the rights of Pakhtuns and would continue doing so.

He said the struggle for the development of Pakhtuns would continue in line with the vision of Bacha Khan and Abdul Wali Khan.

The event was also addressed by ANP nominee for PK-63 by-election Engineer Mian Wajahatullah and ANP district president Jamal Khattak.
