BAHAWALNAGAR: District police claimed on Thursday to have arrested two men for allegedly raping women, making videos and later blackmailing them.

District Police Officer Quddus Baig constituted a team, led by the Chishtian City A Division station house office, after a widow filed a complaint.

He said police registered a case on the complaint of the widow and arrested two suspects ‘Z’ and ‘A’ at Chishtian.

The police said the suspects ran a handicraft school in a rented building in Akbar Town. They said in the guise of the school, they allegedly raped, filmed and blackmailed the needy girls.

The police claimed to have recovered more than 200 videos from the suspects. They said the suspects had also extorted money from women by blackmailing them.
