DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Dera Ismail Khan division commissioner Yahya Khan Akhundzada has said that the proposed sewage treatment plant is the first of its kind in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and work on the project will start soon.

Presiding over a high-level meeting here on Tuesday, he said the project would be completed within the minimum cost.

Superintendent engineer, public health engineering department, Engr Masood-ur-Rehman Khan said the treatment plant would make water usable for irrigation.

Commissioner Yahya Akhundzada also set up a five-member committee headed by the additional deputy commissioner finance, which will submit report on the three proposed sites for setting up the treatment plant.
