RAHIM YAR KHAN: Two people were killed and nine others injured in two accidents here on Friday.

In the first accident, a car and a coaster collided near Chak 2-P Lari in Feroza town of tehsil Khanpur, 60 kilometres from Rahim Yar Khan where Ibrahim, 50, of Liaqatpur, and Fida Hussain, 60, of Kehror Pakka, were killed while Muhammad Sohail, 40, Umair, 35, and Saad, 30, all of Liaqatpur, Zahoor, 55, of Lodhran, and an unidentified person were injured and shifted to the Khanpur Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

In another accident, a bus hit a trailer from the rear side near Khanbela toll plaza on National Highway, 76 kms from Rahim Yar Khan.

The four people were injured identified as Muhammad Javed, 35, Akbri Mai, 75, of Karachi, Sajid, 25, of Pakpattan, and Ali Raza, 22, of Okara. They were shifted to the Khanbela Rural Health Centre.
