KARACHI: The International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) at Karachi University (KU) has opened admissions for its MPhil and PhD degree programmes for year 2020.

Aspiring candidates can fill in and submit admission forms with scanned copies of prerequisite marks sheet through the online admission portal www.uokadmission.edu.pk from July 5 to July 19.

“To address Covid-19 concerns, candidates will be exempted from the admission test. They, however, will be offered admission to the Dr Panjwani Centre for Molecular and Drug Research and the H.E.J Research Institute of Chemistry, only after they succeed in their interviews,” said a spokesperson of ICCBS.

Admissions will be given in various disciplines of sciences, which include organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, textile chemistry, physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, bio-organic chemistry, pharmacology and molecular medicine.

The admission prospectus and fee voucher could be downloaded from www.uokadmission.edu.pk.

The candidates applying for admissions will submit Rs4,500 processing fee (non-refundable) in any branch of United Bank Limited.

A scanned copy of the fee deposit slip is needed to be uploaded along with the admission form latest by July 19.
