We all love ice cream and popsicles. We want to have them every day, as that can get expensive for the pocket, why don’t you make them yourself?

Homemade ice creams and popsicles are not just economical, but more nutritious as there are no artificial colouring or food preservatives that are harmful in the long run. Plus, you can also make little changes to the recipes to suit your taste and what is available at your place at that very moment.

Today we are going to make creamy strawberry popsicles, since there are lots of strawberries in the market these days and it is always best to use fresh fruits, rather than canned ones. And I have used vanilla ice cream, about one cup, but I bought two cups of the ice creams as the cups sold are very small. You can also use cream instead, but that can get a little dense for popsicles.

This recipe is so simple that you can make it all by yourself, and if you do not have popsicle moulds, you can freeze it in any air tight container with the lid firmly closed. So, let’s get started!

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup strawberries
• 1 cup vanilla ice cream
• 1 cup of milk
• 2 tablespoons sugar
