Whether it is Marvel or DC entertainment and comics, both franchises know that the world needs superheroes to fight the baddies. And they are not wrong, the superhero phenomenon has taken over the world.

Since the comics have been here from a very long time, kids and grownups are all familiar with superheroes and villains, and if I’m not wrong, most of you may have your favourite ones as well. Whether you like male superheroes or female ones, DC comics has come up with a separate site for the DC Superhero Girls, (www.dckids.com/dc-super-hero-girls), isn’t it interesting?

The website Superhero Girls is full of colours, animation and illustrations of your favourite superhero girls from DC universe. And if you are a fan of DC comics, then you must have an idea of who these female superheroes are. Yes, I am talking about our very favourite Starfire, Supergirl, Batgirl, Bumblebee, Harley Quinn, Katana, Cheetah, Frost, Catwoman, Star Sapphire, Wonder Woman, Poison Ivy, Hawk Girl etc.

Some of them are villains, while some are saviours of the world. Whoever you like the most, the site will surely delight you with her short clip and basic information.

The site also includes short videos featuring the superhero squad in a high school setting, where they strive to be confident, outgoing, and successful. It also features a few online activities — a personality quiz and a game that involves flying. You can play a game, take a quiz, download three chapters of a book about the superheroes and check out what an upcoming line of figurines will look like.

Apart from that, one particular feature, which I am sure you will like, is the ‘download’ option in the main menu. This option gives you opportunity to download the DIYs related to your favourite character. For instance, you will find how to make superhero mum cape, empowerment cuffs, comic book pen and a lot more.
