With vacation here, you are free to do as you please. So to use this time creatively, here is an interesting craft — beaded bracelet — especially for little girls who want to polish their creativity. This nice and neat bracelet takes 15 minutes to make and can be made from various colourful beads.

Things you need:

  1. Beads (whichever colour or material you want)

  2. 24 inches of yarn string (of the colour of your choice)

  3. Scissors (optional) for cutting the extra thread.

  4. Ruler

  5. Glue

  6. One large bead or button to secure the end of the bracelet.

Directions:

  1. Two fold the 24-inches yarn string to make it 12-inches on both sides, as in picture 2. The 12-inches make 6-inches long bracelet so if you want to make longer you must take the yarn string more than 24-inches.

  2. Make a loop at the end, this should be according to the size of the button or large bead; picture3.

  3. Glue the edges of the string, to make the threads intact so threads don’t come lose while you insert the bead, picture 4.

  4. Insert the bead through one string, picture 5.

  5. Take the other string, insert it in the same bead, pull it out as in pictures 6 and 7.

  6. Repeat steps four and five, you will notice a nice beaded pattern forming when your reach the third bead, pictures 8 and 9.

  7. You have to repeat steps four and five until you reach your desired length. Usually six inches of beads makes the right size; picture 10.

  8. Secure the end with a tight knot, picture 11.

  9. Insert the large bead or button and secure it with a knot again, picture 12.
