GUJRANWALA: The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) have detained 12 suspects in the murder case of a British woman.

Iqra Faisal, who came here recently, was on way along with her husband Faisal Ayub Butt in Wapda Town when two gunmen riding a motorcycle looted them and opened fire, leaving the couple injured. Iqra later died in the DHQ Hospital.

The British Embassy in Islamabad reportedly sought, through the Punjab government, a report about the killing.

CIA DSP Imran Abbas Chaddhar said two teams had been constituted to trace and arrest the accused.
