Tourism potential

Published

KALLAR Kahar, Chakwal, is a beautiful location near my village of Buchal Kalan.

There are some beautiful waterfalls at a spot called Neel Wan from which electricity can be generated.

However, it is a pity that the Punjab government has done nothing to turn it into a tourist spot.

Research carried out by the agriculture department showed that the Pothar region could prove useful for planting olives. Much revenue can be generated from this.

Buchal Khan should be linked with the motorway. The government should carry out a survey of all these regions.
