Well done Malala! You have made me a proud Pakistani! It is unfortunate that while Pakistan wins another Nobel prize, some Pakistanis still holding on to their tradition of criticizing its recipients.

Congratulations to both of them!! Indians and Pakistanis are proud of them. Both governments now show maturity and solves issues peacefully.

Congratulations for Malala and Sathyarthi. Atlast some recognition for Pakistan. But the brave girl who got that recognition is still an American agent to some in Pakistan. The great leader Mahatma Gandhi, the synonym for peace, was not given a Nobel prize for peace. But nobody in India lashed out at Nobel committee when it was later awarded to other Indians. Malala's award is a boost for the efforts to empower the women in the subcontinent. The problem with Malala haters is that they don't support women empowerment. They consider women as machines that produces children and do household chores. This is an award for the oppressed women in the subcontinent.

Right to have education for girls, Malala, and rights of down trodden children, Satyarthi, will it ever be implemented, specially in developed countries. Never. Mohammad Yunus of Bangladesh and the Gramin Bank, won (shared) Noble prize for micro finance, and Mr.Yunus was been terminated by the same bank.

Both India and Pakistan should now realize the futility of one up-brinkmanship and work for peace for the betterment of their teeming populations.

Both countries need to reflect upon themselves- a kid gets shot for demanding education for girls and a private individual has to work towards rescuing thousands of kids from modern-day slavery.

Both countries have very little to congratulate each other for considering that the prize was given to a child who was nearly killed and to a man who spent his life saving the most vulnerable and defenceless section of Indian society viz. children. It is time for introspection on both sides of the border of the deep injustices that run through the societies that they have built.

To honour Malala and Satyarthi, let there be cease fire immediately. Do not kill the children any more. One day we will discover that there is so much common between India and Pakistan. Visit each other and discover the commonality. Pakistani children are healthier than Indian children because of availability of protein to Pakistani children. Teach them more Mathematics and Sciences than hatred of India. Let them dream of going to the Mars.

This is just amazing - what M.K. Gandhi could not get was achieved by these hard working man and the young girl. I am not sure whether it is political or not we should appreciate it. I hope this is a lesson to all of us in this sub-continent to live in peace and make others feel it. I hope Indian sub-continent is a torch bearer for all the violent extremists and terrorists.

Both Malala and Kailash are serving people in their own way. However, the manner in which and the accompanying announcement clearly shows the condescending, patronizing, and politicizing manner that takes its direction and plays up to the English and their devious designs. Malala Yousafzai's name is mentioned first, though alphabetically her first and last name initials come after Kailash Satyarthi's. Kailash Satyarthi and his family has devoted thirty years of their lives to rescuing children from trafficking, exploitation and abuse. In the process he was beaten up and shot at least a few times. An engineer by profession, he suspended his career to protect children. Was listening to a BBC interview with an editor of news website pakobserver. He said a few things about Malala which i found shocking - "Malala is a normal useless girl". - "Taliban never shot Malala" - "Malala's dad is a good salesmen and she has also turned into a good salesgirl" - "the West is using Malala against Pakistan" - He says that majority of Pakistanis share his view about Malala. The BBC guy was as flabbergasted as i was.

these prizes should be kept in the electric power houses of pakistan & india, it will provide electricity to the people of remote areas. lol
