KARACHI: The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has donated two new tables to the Faisalabad Snooker Academy housed in the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, the other day.

Two senior officials of the PSB, Syed Habib Shah and Mohammad Azam Dar visited the University and handed over the tables to the coordinator of the academy after taking possession from the supplier.

It is pertinent to mention that Minister for Inter-provincial Coordination Riaz Hussain Pirzada had promised to donate two tables on the opening of the academy that was established in Sept last year. The PBSF had donated two new tables at the time of academy’s inauguration.

“The Faisalabad academy is now complete and fully equipped to hold national ranking tournaments as well as international events,” the PBSF said in a statement on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the PBSF president, Alamgir Shaikh, has expressed his gratitude to the IPC minister for fulfilling his promise as well as the PSB officials and hoped that the step will yield fruitful results.
