Pak-Afghan ties

Published July 13, 2014

AN Afghan military and intelligence delegation recently visited GHQ and held talks with the Pakistani military official.

Observing the importance of operation Zarb-i-Azb, serveral Afghan officials have already met Pakistan army officers, including the COAS.

At this time both the Afghan Taliban and the TTP will reaact sharply against the unity of Afghanistan and Pakistan. So, the two countries must strengthen their relations earnestly instead of accusing each other. Both sides should continue their talks under all circumstances to have an effective bilateral border coordination mechanism.

It is commendable that both sides agreed to strenghthen their border-security cooperation mechanism to thwart any cross-border movement to prevent terrorists activities
