KARACHI, Nov 19: Humair Akhtar Baloch, senior coordinator in Bizpro and working in the page-making section of Dawn, passed away here on Tuesday. He was 38.

He is survived by a widow, a six-year-old son, mother, a sister and two brothers.

According to his family, he underwent leg surgery at a private hospital and was due to be released on Tuesday but developed some complications and could not survive.

He remained associated with Dawn for 17 years.

His funeral prayers will be held on Wednesday at 10am at Mushtaq Masjid on Islam Road near Mewashah Road in Chakiwara, Lyari. —Staff Reporter
