ISLAMABAD, April 27: The caretaker of Golra Sharif, Syed Ghulam Jalaluddin Gilani, has announced his decision to support Makhdoom Javed Hashmi and Ghulam Sarwar Khan, the PTI candidates from NA-48 and NA-53, respectively.

Pir Gilani made the announcement during a press conference along with the two PTI leaders here on Saturday.

On the occasion, Pir Jalaluddin, his family members and followers vowed to fully support the PTI candidates, including Javed Hashmi (NA-48), Ghulam Sarwar Khan (NA-53), Siddique Khan (PP-7) and Ijaz Bukhari PP-15.

They also urged his followers and supporters to make all-out efforts in order to ensure the success of the Golra Sharif backed PTI candidates.

Extolling the services of Pirs of Golra Sharif, Javed Hashmi and Ghulam Sarwar Khan vowed that with their support their party would defeat the time-tested and opportunist politicians in the coming elections.

PTI central leader Dr Shahzad Wasim, Ali Awan, Raja Khurram Nawaz, Amir Mughal, Sajid Malik and Wajid Bukhari were also present.—A Reporter
