KARACHI: Six people were killed in incidents of firing and violence in different areas of Karachi, while the police arrested two suspects during a targeted operation in, DawnNews reported on Tuesday.

One person was killed in a firing incident in Karachi’s Old Golimar area.

Two bodies bearing marks of torture were found in Baldia Town No. 2. One of the bodies had been beheaded and the head was found from Karachi’s Shershah area at the Dalda Mor.

Separately, another body bearing torture marks was found in the Old Haji Camp area of Karachi.

A man was gunned down by unknown attackers in the Khairabad area of Orangi Town in Karachi. His body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

In a separate incident, one man was killed when unknown gunmen opened fire on him in the Khokhrapar area of Malir in Karachi.

On the other hand, the police conducted a targeted operation in the locality of Chanesar Goth situated in Karachi’s Mehmoodabad area. Two suspects were arrested by the police but no weapons were recovered from them.

According to police sources, there were infamous drug dealers hiding in the area who had fled before the police arrived in the area.
