Pakistani actor Humayun Saeed has been severely injured in a car crash in Bangkok, local media reported.

The actor, his wife and crew were in Thailand to explore locations for an upcoming film produced together by Six Sigma Plus and ARY Films.

Speaking to ARY News, producer Nadeem Baig, who was also in the van with Humayun, said that the accident happened when their driver took a U-turn and a bus hit their van from behind. As a result, their van crashed into a pillar.

Baig further added that Humayun was unconscious at the scene of the accident for 10 minutes. However, he is said to be out of danger now and recovering. He is expected to be discharged in a day or two.

Humayun, who has been in the industry since 1996, is also the CEO of Six Sigma Entertainment. The 43-year-old actor will be next seen in Malik, as well as Arth 2 and Bin Roye which has been in production for the last two years. He has won numerous awards for 'Best Actor' and has also won several Lux Style Awards.
