ISLAMABAD, Nov 13 The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has extended the last date of filing form-29 to Nov 15, to facilitate the corporate sector. The form related to appointment of auditors as approved by the AGM.
The last date for filing for most of the companies, which closed their accounts on June 30, was Nov 14, which falls on Sunday. So the SECP decided to keep the companies registration offices open on Nov 13 and 14, exclusively for accepting of documents.
However, in order to further facilitate the companies, the SECP has now extended the last date of filing form 29. Consequently, the form shall now be accepted by 800pm on Monday, Nov 15. This facility shall be applicable to both online and manual filing of the form.
The companies are also required to file annual returns on forms A/B within 45 days in case of listed companies and 30 days in case of other companies after holding of annual general meetings (AGMs). Forms A/B pertained to annual returns and financial profile of the company.
The annual audited accounts have to be filed within 30 days of holding of AGMs. The last date of filing of forms A/B and annual audited accounts for most of the companies will be Nov 30, 2010.
