Preparing for Ramazan

Published
Ramazan is an Islamic religious observance that takes place during the ninth month of the Islamic calendar; the month in which the Quran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad. In this Islamic month of fasting, Muslims abstain from eating, drinking indulging in anything that is in excess or ill-natured; from dawn until sunset. Fasting is meant to teach the Muslim patience, modesty and spirituality. Starting Saturday/Sunday, Muslims around the world will mark the beginning of the holy fasting month of Ramazan.[imagebrowser id=10013]
