FATEHJANG, Feb 20: A boy, who was kidnapped on Feb 12, was recovered and three abductors were arrested. Khalid Hussain, father of five-year-old Usman told the police that his son had been abducted from here. He gave the cellphone number of an alleged kidnapper who had contacted him. The police after lodging the case started investigation and traced the culprit through the mobile phone data.

The DPO Attock constituted a team which arrested Nasir Mehmood from Fatehjang. He told the police that the boy had been taken to Badhber, a locality in the suburbs of Peshawar.

Kagah Wala police station of Badhber, on information provided by Attock police, raided a house in the locality and recovered the boy.

Two alleged kidnappers Wahid and Sajjad were also arrested while their driver Rehmat managed to escape.  —Correspondent
