KARACHI, Jan 3: The coordination committee of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement has reorganised one of its wings — the Karachi Muttahida Organising Committee.

A statement issued here on Monday says that the MQM announced the names of the person in charge of the body as well as its 15 members.

The announcement to this effect was made by MQM leader Waseem Aftab at a workers’ convention here.

It said that Shakeel Abbasi and Izharruddin will be in charge and joint in charge, respectively. Other members are Mirza Ejaz Baig, Sher Wali Afridi, Faiz-ur-Rehman, Jamal Afridi, Muhammad Faseel Aslam Rana, Asif Butt, Khalid Mehmood Awan, Muhammad Bakhsh Nadir Dasti, Syed Badshah Khan, Ayub Khan Durrani, Muhammad Moosa, Dr Sher Ali and Kamran Khan.—APP
