KARACHI: Ajmal Pahari, 2 others acquitted

KARACHI, July 20: An Additional District and Sessions Judge, West, Mohammed Saghir Rana, acquitted on Saturday three activists of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement in a murder case.

Ajmal Pahari, Kashif alias David and Ehtesham alias Bhora were charged with the murder of Mumtaz alias Najmi, an alleged police informer. According to the FIR, registered by the Orangi Town police, the accused killed Mumtaz in 1997. — APP
