OMODA & JAECOO continues to strengthen its position in Pakistan’s rapidly evolving automotive market, with Nishat Group surpassing the 15,000-unit milestone of locally assembled vehicles. The achievement builds on the brand’s earlier milestone of 10,000 locally assembled units, reached just eight months after the first locally assembled vehicle was delivered in December 2025.

Crossing 15,000 units is by no means a small feat, it is uncommon to have had any automotive player locally assemble such a high volume in one year. It goes on to show the exemplary demand among masses for the Omoda & Jaecoo brand and reiterates Nishat Group’s determination towards locally assembled vehicles in a bid to strengthen the local economy.

An expanding nationwide dealer network now with 20 dealerships across the country help enable easy access for the Pakistani consumer. The earlier 10,000-unit milestone was also driven by growing demand for intelligent hybrid mobility, with models such as the JAECOO J7 Plug-in Hybrid and JAECOO J5 Hybrid introducing new electrified mobility solutions to Pakistani consumers.

JAECOO J7 completes one year in Pakistan

The latest milestone comes as the JAECOO J7 marks its first anniversary in the Pakistani market, celebrating a year of strong customer response and growing recognition for the premium SUV.

To mark the occasion, JAECOO J7 is introducing a special First Anniversary Edition of the JAECOO J7 featuring an exclusive Beige Interior, adding a distinctive new character to the SUV’s premium cabin experience.

The Beige Interior Edition brings a more refined and sophisticated ambience to the JAECOO J7, complementing its modern exterior design with a premium interior treatment. The special edition is designed to commemorate the model’s first year in Pakistan while offering customers an exclusive take on one of the brand’s key SUV offerings.

A year of growth and customer trust

The JAECOO J7’s first year coincides with the broader rise of OMODA & JAECOO in Pakistan. From establishing a new automotive brand in the country to rapidly scaling local production, the journey has been driven by customer confidence in intelligent technology, safety, electrified mobility and premium SUV experiences.

The 10,000-unit milestone previously represented more than production volume; it reflected the growing trust of Pakistani customers, with every locally assembled vehicle representing a customer choosing innovation, intelligent technology and a new generation of mobility.

With more than 15,000 locally assembled vehicles now achieved, the latest milestone reinforces the momentum behind the brand and Nishat Group’s continued commitment to local automotive manufacturing.

Looking ahead

Nishat Group’s investment in local assembly has also contributed to the development of Pakistan’s automotive manufacturing ecosystem, supporting skilled employment and strengthening the country’s capacity to assemble technologically advanced vehicles.

As OMODA & JAECOO enters its next phase of growth, the company continues to expand its portfolio and local manufacturing footprint, with products such as the OMODA 7 SHS Plug-in Hybrid, JAECOO J6T REEV and upcoming OMODA 4 forming part of its future product roadmap.

From its first locally assembled vehicle in December 2025 to 15,000+ units and a one-year milestone for the JAECOO J7, the journey reflects the accelerating shift towards intelligent, electrified and locally built mobility in Pakistan.
