Qatar is in talks with the United States and Iran to try and pull them back from the brink of war, following Washington and Tehran trading strikes earlier this week, The New York Times reports.
“Qatar, which helped broker the US-Iran truce last month, has been in talks with Washington and Tehran to de-escalate the crisis,” NYT reports citing two officials with knowledge of the matter, who requested anonymity to discuss sensitive diplomacy.
