LAHORE: The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) organised an awareness seminar at the Department of Gender Studies, Punjab University, aimed at educating students about modern digital safety initiatives and public facilitation services.

During the seminar, briefings were given on the Virtual Women Police Station, Women Safety App, and Public Safety App, says a press release.

Students were also informed about the services and features of the Emergency Helpline 15.

The participants showed interest in the functioning of Pakistan’s first Virtual Women Police Station and appreciated it as a significant step towards ensuring women’s safety.

Students were briefed about PSCA’s projects nominated for the United Nations WSIS Prizes 2026.
