Mohammad Esmaeil Tavakoli, the head of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in Iran’s Tehran province, has been quoted by Iran’s Mehr news agency as saying that 503 people have been killed in the province since the war started, according to Al Jazeera.

About 5,700 people were also injured in the area since February 28, he added.
