QUETTA: The Majlis Wahdat-i-Muslimeen (MWM) brought a protest rally on Friday from Imambargah Kalan, led by the party’s provincial vice president, Allama Ali Hasnain, against the assassination of Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, as well as attacks on the neighbouring country by the United States and Israel.

Participants in the rally marched through various roads along with Allama Hashim Mosavi, Allama Wilayat Hussain Jafri, Omar Khan Achakzai, and other MWM leaders.

The protesters carried banners and placards denouncing the killing of the Iranian supreme leader and civilians, and condemning US and Israeli aggression.

Speakers at the rally strongly criticised the attacks, stating that the assault on Iran had killed innocent civilians and targeted its leadership.
