ISLAMABAD: Marking a historic milestone in Pakistan’s judicial reform journey, the National Judicial Analytics Dashboard was formally launched on Tuesday, realising a long-standing institutional vision of the National Judicial (Policy Making) Committee (NJPMC).

The landmark initiative has been developed by the Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan (LJCP), with technical assistance from the National Information Technology Board (NITB), in close collaboration with the IT Directorates of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the Federal Shariat Court, and the high courts across the country.

The dashboard represents a transformative shift towards evidence-based judicial policymaking, enhanced institutional transparency and performance-driven governance within the country’s justice system.

The launch ceremony was graced by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Yahya Afridi, alongside Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Chairman of the National Judicial Automation Committee (NJAC), judges of the Supreme Court, judges of the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan, chief justices of high courts, registrars of the high courts, representatives of the Pakistan Bar Council, secretary, ministry of information technology and telecom, chief executive officer of the National IT Board and senior judicial and technical officials.

Speaking on the occasion, NJAC Chairman Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar delivered the introductory remarks, outlining the evolutionary journey of the project and highlighting the salient features of the dashboard.

He said the platform consolidates judicial data into an integrated, real-time analytics framework, enabling informed decision-making, strategic planning and strengthened institutional accountability.

The National Judicial Analytics Dashboard was formally unveiled by CJP. Live demonstration of the dashboard, showcasing its analytical capabilities, real-time monitoring functions, and visual data architecture was part of the launch.

Speaking on the occasion, the CJP described the dashboard as a pivotal governance instrument that would enhance transparency, predictability and performance monitoring across the judicial system.

The CJP appreciated the collective efforts of LJCP, the National IT Board, and the judicial IT teams for translating a long-standing reform vision into an operational and sustainable reality.
