KARACHI, May 27: Former Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Jamali and Acting Governor of Sindh Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah called on PML-F chief Pir Pagara, who is the spiritual leader of the Hur Jamaat, at the Kingri House here on Saturday.

They remained with Pir Pagara for an hour before Mr Jamali held a separate meeting with him.

Later, talking to journalists, Mr Jamali said that the Charter of Democracy signed by PPP chairperson Ms Benazir Bhutto and PML-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif in London recently was nothing but ‘barter of democracy’ that would serve their own interests in cash and kind.

He said that Benazir Bhutto, Nawaz Sharif and Altaf Hussain, all being Pakistanis, must return home and play their politics here, adding that he did not believe in playing politics from abroad.

About the differences between the Sindh chief minister and MQM, Mr Jamali said that they had been going along since long and should settle their differences mutually.—APP
