KARACHI: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi on Saturday announced the postponement of the intermediate annual examinations for 2025.

The exams, which were to start from April 28 (tomorrow), will now commence from May 5.

The change in the date of the examinations was made due to two main reasons. First, the process of giving grace marks in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics to all students of Science Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering and Science General Groups of Intermediate Part I Annual Examinations for 2024 is underway.

The second reason is that there are some examination centres of matriculation and inter in which the matric examinations are currently underway. They are to continue till first week of May. Therefore, the starting date of intermediate examinations has been changed to keep the examination system organised and ensure the availability of centres.
