LAHORE: Idara-i-Taleem-o-Aagahi CEO Baela Raza Jamil was awarded the Asia Education Medal for her work in advancing education for children and adolescents in Pakistan.

The medal, part of the World Education Medals founded by T4 Education and HP, acknowledges the work done in education through leadership and advocacy.

Baela said she was honoured to receive this prestigious award. She said they would look forward to forging impactful partnership with government, industry and global stakeholders.

Baela had established ITA 25 years ago and the Sanjan Nagar School focused on giving quality education, especially to girls.
