LARKANA: A supervisor in the food department was sentenced to 10-year imprisonment and ordered to pay a fine of Rs60 million after he was found guilty of misappropriating wheat stocks in 2022.

The judgement was pronounced by Special Judge for Anti-corruption Court, Larkana, Suresh Kumar against Oshaq Ahmed Khokhar, who was arrested and tried after wheat stocks under his supervision were found misappropriated from silos in Shikarpur.

Khokhar was brought to the court from the central jail by the Anti-corruption police on Saturday. He was escorted back to the jail to serve out his jail term.
