According to the FIR of the incident, the suspects escaped from the spot.

However, the police on X stated that one of the suspects was arrested and a weapon recovered from him.

The police said a pair of Dolphin Squads, comprising four personnel on two motorcycles, was on duty between Alipur and Tramri Chowk when they spotted three persons riding a motorcycle without a registration plate ahead of them.

The suspects took a turn and entered a street and the squads followed them. However, the suspects collided their motorcycle with the two official motorcycles. The four police personnel fell on the road and one of them tried to catch the suspects.
